CLIPPER MAINTENANCE & CARE
Clipper Maintenance & Care
• Always ensure you have an extra set of sharp blades at hand before starting your clipping job.
• Oil blades with clippers pointed downwards before and during clipping, approx every 10-15 minutes, • Oil means less friction, less friction means less heat on the blades.
• Always use a proper clipping oil, not engine, burnt or penetrating oil.
• Never overtighten clipping blades, “Edge cuts, not pressure”.
• Keep air intake and outlet as clean and clear of hair and dirt as possible to reduce motor over heating.
• Have your clippers serviced and blades sharpened at the end of each clipping season, ready for the one to follow.
• Always store your clippers and blades in a moisture free area. Store in a cool dry place.
