What kind of conductor material do I need?

There are several points to take into account when selecting the right conductor material. In principle, you have a choice between conductor materials made of plastic (tapes, wires, ropes) in which the current-carrying wires are interwoven with plastic threads, and solid wires made of carbide, which are especially suitable for constructing permanent fences. When selecting the right wire material, note the resistance in Ohm/m. The lower this value, the better the material conducts electricity. Our proven TriCond material combines high conductivity with a long service life.

Resistance in Ohm/m: the lower this value, the better the material conducts electricity. Maximum fence length: the lower the resistance in Ohm/m, the longer the fences that can be built. In practice, however, this requires low vegetation, excellent insulators and an optimised earthing system.
