Connection socket for back-up operation (optional) The unit is normally connected to a 12-Volt battery at the bottom screw cap and at the same time to the 230-Volt power pack (371012 - not included) at the top socket. If the 230-Volt mains supply fails, the unit automatically switches to 12-Volt operation.
